West Virginia Wesleyan College is seeking a visionary Assistant Professor to spearhead a new undergraduate program in Cybersecurity and AI. Founded in 1890, West Virginia Wesleyan is a private residential college located in the foothills of Appalachia in Buckhannon, WV, which was named one of the “100 Best Small Towns in America.” The College has over 40 undergraduate academic majors, six graduate programs, 22 NCAA Division II sports, comprehensive student life, community engagement, and outdoor recreational programs. Wesleyan’s liberal arts foundation, combined with a focus on practical skills and ethical considerations, provides the perfect backdrop for nurturing well-rounded professionals in cybersecurity and AI.
Qualifications: A successful candidate will hold a PhD or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field. We welcome candidates with equivalent experience in the private sector or national laboratories/institutes.
